Financial Controller - Responsibilities

You will be working as part of a small accounts team, providing support on periodical financial reporting and with primary responsibility for the preparation, development and analysis of management accounts information. As an integral member of the team you will work closely with the MD, providing risk management, internal controls and procedures and to monitor and evaluate financial information to support business decisions.

Financial Controller - Role Requirements

- Production of management reporting
- Cashflow forecasting
- Improving cash controls
- VAT
- Assisting with statutory reporting
- Management of a small team
- Process improvements
- Cost reductions
- Preparation to Trial Balance, Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss
- Month end processing and analysis
- Debtor reconciliations and investigation of discrepancies
- Stock Control and analysis
- Purchasing

You will also be expected to work closely with the General Manager and Group Finance supplying information to assist in achieving the goals and targets as set by the company.

Financial Controller - Candidate Specifications

Qualifications:

Must be:
- Educated to degree level
- CIMA or similar accounts qualification

Experience:

- Minimum of 3 yrs experience within a manufacturing environment
- Preparation of management accounts for decision makers
- Credit Control
- Cash flow forecasting
- Preparation of monthly accounts
- Preparation of statutory accounts reports
- Knowledgeable about manufacturing processes and associated costings
- Must have a demonstrated ability to interact with customers and key internal contacts
