| Area Sales Manager required for London / South Coast (field based) 35-38K basic + bonus + car. Engineering background required, experience with Building Management Systems essential. Our client is a market leader in the manufacture and supply of intelligent Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS), operating a worldwide distribution and support network. The products are installed in all types of non-residential buildings including shops, leisure centres, offices, schools, hospitals and factories.
This company is currently seeking an experienced sales person with a professional and organised approach and a proven track record. However, we will also consider people who have experience with the products and services of the Building Management Systems industry and who perhaps come from a service or engineering background and have the drive and passion to succeed in sales
Key Responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager:
- Develop new service business opportunities in existing and new market sectors, either on a regional, or a national accounts basis. Whilst ensuring existing company relationships are maintained and further enhanced. - Identify and develop agreements/partnerships with the wider customer base in order to enhance the service offering. - Expand the contracted customer base by gaining new service contracts and ensuring the retention and growth of existing profitable contracts. - Maintain close contact with existing customer base in order to identify new sales opportunities and threats to the company's business. - Identify, prospect and tender and close on new service sales opportunities for the company and new direct sales opportunities for new build, refurbishment and upgrade projects. - Examine historical data in order to identify contribution to aid the re-negotiation of unprofitable or low margin contract renewals in line with current strategy. - Through analysis of customer requirements and tender documentation produce accurate designs to the relevant standards and prepare quotations based upon bills of quantities. - Conduct site surveys - Contribute to the planning, forecasting & budget process through specific knowledge of managed area. - Achievement of sales targets including orders, sales revenue and margin for both SLA and Small regional projects this includes working towards team goals and initiatives. - Achievement of agreement/partnership targets. - Achievement of existing contract retention targets. - Development of incremental sales with existing customers. - Time and workload management to ensure targets are achieved. - Meeting company expectation working to 'Standard of Performance'.
