Pay scale: 17.00 - 20.40 per hour (negotiable)

We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Asbestos Duty Holder Trainer - BOHS P402 Certified.

Education and / or experience

1 British Occupational Health Society
P402 Buildings Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos
2 Experience of providing Asbestos training
3 Ability to provide guidance on cost effective solutions to asbestos issues
Knowledge
4 Knowledge and understanding of current asbestos legislation, associated guidance and best practice
Skills and Abilities
5 Able to adhere to the Council's health and safety policy
6 Able to work as part of a team
7 Able to train and coach employees
8 Able to gather information and prepare and present oral and written factual reports
9 Able to organise and prioritise work activities to achieve the most effective use of time
10 Able to use various computer software packages e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent, to generate reports, statistics and training material
11 Able to work towards and implement the Council's core values, environmental statement and equal opportunities policy
Other
12 Ability to travel round the borough
