Management skills - the ability to manage a team but also ability to manage and "sell" the activity. We are a support entity for projects and one of the important dimensions of the job is to develop the QA function (some projects are not using th facility).
Experience in the Supply Management of High Tech/high constraints Equipment. Ideally in Space business but it could be also Aeronautics or Military background.
Knowledge of Quality rules in Space/Aeronautic business which apply to the development and the production of Equipment. We are speaking here of "Operational Quality" for equipment not ISO certification of a company or general Quality system.
Good technical background (Engineering level) in mechanical/mechanisms/structure.

Essential:
Management skills, deep expertise in Quality Assurance for Space
Capability to impose an independent Quality point of view even under pressure
Capability to be fully recognized by BU's and Supplier Quality organisations.
Knowledge and technical background in equipment, expertise in Equipment production process, good knowledge of Telecom and ESA requirements
Experience in the Quality Assurance for Space Equipment or experience in Space Equipment Supply, experience in the domain of mechanical structure, mechanisms or, Electric equipments.

The role is to manage the Equipment Supply Quality group in Stevenage. This group is in charge of ensuring the Quality Assurance of the equipments which are supplied for Telecom Mechanical Platform and Antenna programs, for some EOS-UK programs and Mechanism group.

Main responsibilities:
Manage the Supply Quality group team in terms of workload, resource deployment, development and training, key skills availability and team animation, reporting
Guarantee t
