| This leading organisation operating within the education support sector is currently looking to recruit a Commercial Project Manager to join their team based in Waltham Forest for a fixed term contract until the end of March 2010. As Commercial Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the implementation of a contractual change on a service delivery project. You will lead a project team which will consist of HR, Finance, Commercial, business development and operations, the role reports into the Head of Business Development. The project will involve taking services into the organisation that are currently being operated by a public sector client, you will be involved in making contractual changes and reducing some of the service areas currently operating within the business. You will look at business development opportunities and will be involved in analysing and streamlining current structures and processes. Experience of managing service delivery projects or experience of working on projects with local authorities would be preferred but is not essential. The successful applicant will have a strong project management or bid management background with experience of managing multi-million pound bids. You should have excellent team working skills with strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills and will have the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks within a high pressure environment. The ideal applicant will have experience of running a service delivery project for a client or equivalent and will have experience of managing a successful project team. This is a fixed term contract until March 2010 and is paying 30-40K (pro rata)
