Our Client is part of a major international packaging group and supplies printed flexible packaging to a blue chip customer base in the food and confectionary sectors.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the management of the quality department and quality systems on the site which is Investors in People, ISO 9001, AIB Hygiene and the BRC/IOP Technical accredited. Through the critical evaluation of current procedures, and the formalisation of improvement programmes, you will ensure that the site meets both legislative and customer requirements and produces packaging of the highest quality.

Leading a team of three QA personnel, you will ensure that Operator surveillance testing is further developed and carry out route cause analysis to identify preventative and corrective actions to improve the company’s procedures. This influential role will require you to ensure that procedures are adhered to at all levels within the business in order to maximize production throughput whilst minimizing waste and improving downtime thus improving site performance at a time when leading technology advances are occurring.

Of graduate calibre, you should be able to demonstrate previous quality management experience ideally gained within the print/packaging sector or a similarly challenging, high volume, manufacturing environment e.g. automotive. Strong people management skills and the ability to lead quality improvement programmes are pre- requisites for this role.
