The successful candidate will be responsible for all activities relating to the study, design and delivery of highway maintenance and improvement schemes for the Highways Agency.

Typical Skills/Experience required as follows:

Degree (preferably in Civil Engineering) or HNC, with some highway experience.

Experience of Highways Design Standards.

Experience of completing Highways Projects on time and within budget.

Experience of DfT procedures and processes for a high speed network.

Knowledge of various contract forms i.e. MAC, TMC.

Ability to use formal project management programmes such as Microsoft Project

Communication and skills to be able to write and present reports to the Project Manager and external clients.

Ability to use all standard Microsoft Office Products.

Experience/knowledge of specialist tools such as AutoCAD and MX would be beneficial.
