One of the UK's largest NVQ Training Providers is looking for a Training Manager to manage and develop the Automotive Technical Training provision within their Bracknell Academy.

This exciting and rewarding new position will report into the Technical and Apprenticeship Training Manager, and will be responsible for managing the Technical and Apprenticeship Instructors, achieving targets, and enhancing the training opportunities offered.

Specific Duties will include:

- Acting as line manager for the Technical Training Department, with 14 direct reports
- Managing training delivery in line with the SLA's
- Scheduling the programmes and modules to ensure objectives are met
- To develop the training offering to meet the needs of the Automotive Manufacturer
- Working within a quality assurance framework complying with all guidelines
- Performance Management in line with the company's policies, processes and procedures
- Overall Operational responsibility for the Technical Training remit

The ideal applicant will be from an automotive background with a good knowledge of both the hands-on technical side of the automotive industry as well as the training industry. You will require strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. It is essential that you have experience in a recent operational management role, as well as a background in managing innovative programme delivery within the areas of Automotive Manufacturing. A degree qualification or equivalent in Automotive Manufacturing is essential.
