One of the UK's largest private training providers is looking for a Training Manager to manage and develop the Non-Technical Automotive training provision within our Bracknell Academy.

This exciting and rewarding new position will form part of the Management Team, and will be responsible for leading and directing four Business Units, achieving targets, and developing partnerships to maximise business development opportunities across the group.

Specific Duties will include:

- Acting as line manager for non-technical training teams including, Brand & Sales, Aftersales, Management Training and Financial Services
- Leading and managing the non-technical teams in developing innovative and dynamic programmes and curriculum
- Participate in the recruitment of new staff
- Implementing and delivering training strategies that achieve key performance indicators for the contract, and support the strategic direction of the manufacturer
- Identifying new income streams and opportunities, and maintaining links with the automotive manufacturer and other external agencies
- Performance Management in line with the company's policies, processes and procedures
- Inductions for new members of staff
- Active involvement in promotional, marketing and recruitment events

The ideal applicant will be from a non-technical, automotive background with a good knowledge of the training industry. You will require strong communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to influence people of all levels. It is essential that you have experience in a recent operational management role and managing innovative programme development. You will need to be commercially astute and operationally focused.
