Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing organisation based in Swindon, is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and self motivated Senior Quality professional to coordinate the activities of a team of Quality Control specialists and to compliment their existing team of engineering professionals.
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate experience of working within a quality control environment, ideally allied to the automotive sector although this is by no means essential, and ideally within a medium to high volume manufacturing environment whist supervising a team of engineers.

You will oversee the supplier Quality Control Team and undertake extensive liaison with suppliers and external inspection departments, ensuring Quality Standards are maintained in accordance with Customer requirements and working closely with other managers to ensure project execution is within the desired outcomes, therefore experience of problem solving within a production environment as well as exposure to a mass production quality control department would be distinctly advantageous.

In addition to being responsible for the Planning and development of the team and reporting on a regular basis to Board Level, you will demonstrate extensive measurement experience, good communication skills, the ability to work in a high pressurized environment and experience of meeting deadlines.

A flexible and motivated approach is essential as is excellent man-management experience and the ability to work on your own initiative.
