The Company: Our client is an established business headquartered in Australia with offices in each state and manufacturing sites in three. They specialise in protective packaging systems including bottles, closures, pumps, triggers, drums and containers and offer a unique &one stop& solution based on their capability to design, manufacture and distribute product throughout the country. An opportunity exists in Sydney for an experienced sales person with a packaging background in plastics. The Role: Reporting to the head of sales you are charged with helping to consolidate existing customers in addition to leveraging your relationships and prospects to identify new business opportunities as well. There is probably a stronger ratio of account management to new business - largely based on this companies unique offering, but we need people to demonstrate new business skills as well. The Person: You are an accomplished sales person with a track record in the industrial packaging sector (ideally in plastics) who can demonstrate strong relationships and networking contacts. Your commercial orientation needs to be strong - so its important to be able to discuss (with examples) your ability to identify an opportunity and capitalise on it by negotiating price and closing the deal.
