This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who has worked as a senior/principal software engineer, has moved into systems engineering and is looking for the next step up. Candidates with experience at the system level on projects with a high software content could also be well suited.

You will be working on a range of command and control products for the defence sector (primarily for US and UK markets). Ideally candidates will have some experience with C2 or C4I, however this is not a pre-requisite.

Your systems experience should include systems analysis, requirements definition, system design and task management skills in a defence environment.

The role will require the ability to:

- Manage small projects including the customer interface

- Work on the proposal and preparation of technical bids/tenders

- Represent the company as the prime technical contact on projects and be able to interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters

In addition the candidate should be able to undertake a range of senior technical roles including Technical Consultant, Bid Technical Lead and Systems Architect.

Candidates that have experience with C++, C# and .Net in addition to the above will be particularly desirable.
