Our clients, a leading fixed line Telecoms operator in the UK, are recruiting for a Data and Segmentation Marketing Manager to join their existing team. The successful candidate will maintain and develop the Marketing Database liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. The role also requires the candidate to provide extensive segmentation analysis to the marketing and sales teams in order to optimise opportunities with customers and prospects.
Job Duties: Responsible for the day to day liaison with external database suppliers and other areas of the organisation who provide internal data. Develop and monitor mechanisms for gathering and reporting marketing database information. Provide meaningful analysis to optimise campaign targeting and sales prospecting. Identify the customer and prospect segments that represent the greatest opportunity for the business and agree the optimal way to target them with the Sales and Marketing teams. Support the Marketing and Sales teams with database information to perform campaigns and customer communications Participate in pre- and post-campaign workshops for all Marketing campaigns and identify the main success factors. Apply in-depth database skills and knowledge to participate in and influence the development of the Marketing Strategy. Provide quality analysis and insight using a customer database to understand how customer needs and buying behaviour. In order to be considered for this role you will need to have experience within a B2B Telecoms environment and must have experience maintaining and manipulating marketing databases, particularly in Microsoft Access, knowledge of Business Objects and SQL Server designing and building front ends where appropriate, extensive segmentation and modelling experience supporting Marketing and Sales teams.
