An opportunity has arisen for a CMM Programmer/Operator to join our client, a leading manufacturer of aluminium castings that serves the aerospace industry.

For this role our client is looking to recruit someone who will both embrace the challenge of satisfying customer requirements in an aerospace environment, whilst initiating new procedures/cultures within an existing structure.

As a CMM Programmer/Operator you will be tasked with programming, setting and operating the CMMs. Your role will initially focus on strengthening the CMM department, with scope to enhance the company's quality requirements.

To be considered for this position you must have hands-on ability to programme, set and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), coupled with experience of LK or Mitutoyo.

You must also have one of the following:
- Knowledge of AS9102 (First Article Inspection procedure)
- Knowledge of AS9100 with experience of programming and operating CMMs in an aerospace environment

A background in SPC and process control would be beneficial to your application.
