Our client is a leading independent North West housing and regeneration organisation. They are now looking to recruit a Fixed Term Income Generation Officer to provide specialist knowledge within income generation for the group. Within this centralised role, you will deliver a face to face responsive service to customers and you will be proactive in delivering and developing services to prevent problems occurring.

Within this fast-paced environment, you will need to keep up to date with current legislation and best practise to ensure the service is of the highest standard and to provide training. They will need you to visit customers in order to recover debts owed to the group. Providing a customer focused service at all times, you will establish why the rent arrears have accrued to ensure vulnerable customers are given assistance and offer debt and welfare benefits advice when appropriate. They will also need you to present re-possession cases at court and carry out the eviction process.

Our client is looking for a highly organised and customer-focussed individual with the drive and determination to make this role a success. With previous experience in the social housing sector, you will be able to demonstrate experience within a similar role or possess a relevant qualification e.g. Institute of Housing or HNC Housing Studies. You will need to be IT literate with particular knowledge of Microsoft Office. Working with performance indicators and targets previously, you will be able to prioritise your workload to meet targets and deadlines. With excellent communication skills, you will be able to work effectively within a shared service centre environment.

Evening and Weekend work is a requirement of this post and the position is subject to a CRB check. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
