Our client is currently seeking an IT Technician to join their team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Within this role your main responsibilities will include ensuring that incidents are properly logged, identified, prioritised, resolved and tracked within the company’s service desk, dealing with Active Directory Administration including user accounts and file / folder permissions and dealing with the Administration of MS Exchange 2003 Server. You will also be expected to deal with network administration including DNS, DHCP, VPN, RRAS & WAN, administrate the business’ ERP system and deal with disaster recovery and back up. The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role previously and will possess good diagnostic and faultfinding skills. It is essential that you are highly motivated, organised and adept at handling stressful and time-sensitive situations. You must have a previous track record of IT support and have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, both Desktop and Server along with application support skills and knowledge WAN / LAN concepts and VPN technology / administration. You should have a working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 as well as experience of supporting an ERP system.
