Coding Specialist, In Patient Coder,

If you are a Coding Specialist, In Patient Coder, with Acute Care hospital coding experience, please read on!

*Client will assist with relocation

What you need for this position:
- RHIT, RHIA or CCS
- Associate or advanced degree in health information management
- Preferred Coding experience as a Team Lead or equivalent

What you'll be doing:
- Perform coding of all visit types
- Perform problem resolution
- Resolve coding edits
- Monitor daily coding workflow
- Train and orient new coding staff
- Provide in-service education
- Serve as resource to coding staff
- Respond to needs of other departments as well as physicians and physician office staff
- Serve as backup for Coding Supervisor
- Serve as backup for system administrator functions for HDM; serve as backup for liaison activities with HIDI
- Display effective teamwork and leadership skills
