The role:

Our client has a requirement for a Lead Planning Engineer, You will be accountable to the Engineering Planning Manager and responsible for the ongoing update and revision of existing schedules and the development of new/ additional schedules for all engineering disciplines associated. Coupled with this, the Planning Engineer will also be required to develop EPC schedules in accordance with bid/ tender requirements

Key Responsibilities

Development of Engineering Barchart schedules, ‘S’ curves and Histograms based on CTR deliverables and in accordance with the work breakdown structure.
Progress monitoring and reporting of planned, earned and expended values.
Supporting the development of SPMM and Engineering planning procedures
Determination and reporting of deviations from the plan
Evaluating the impact of changes to the engineering scope
Participation in schedule risk reviews

Essential Skills/Qualifications

Engineering/Design Office Planning experience
Procurement Interface Planning experience
Good office software skills, in particular Excel
Project planning experience

Desirable Skills/Qualifications
Working knowledge of planning methodology
Working knowledge and experience of using Primavera
