Senior Web Developer (PERL)

Description : 
We are looking for a Senior Web Developer who can, not only solve problems but will own what they're doing and take it to the next level. They will need to have the confidence to switch between technologies and possess a range of programming languages - although the main focus is Perl and an HTML templating language, ideally Template Toolkit . We require someone who has the ability to build great software, coupled with the willingness and drive to continue learning.

Skills Required:
Extensive commercial web application development experience using Perl.
Experience of web technologies such as Cascading Style Sheets ( CSS ), Javascript, XML, Ajax , jQuery, Web APIs, SOAP , Web Services.
Demonstrable ability to lead a development and deliver scalable, robust and innovative solutions.
The ability to take a flexible and pragmatic approach to development.
Working in an small fast-paced team you will demonstrate software development methods such as Agile.
A commitment to test-first development, automated testing, continuous integration and disciplined version control.
Strong database skills, able to program database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server versions 2000 to 2008.
Experience of development across multiple platforms such as Linux and Windows
