As a Supply Chain Professional you will be working very closely with the project team who will be delivering this project. You will be responsible for formulating and delivering supply chain solutions in support of the project including delivery of Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics plans.

Major tasks

1. Support the development of, and subsequently manage arrangements to buy, distribute and delivery of projects requirements.

2. Manage stakeholders' relationships to ensure support on activities to generate, negotiate and place contracts with selected suppliers. (Activities include agreed scope definition, contracting frameworks, prices and delivery schedules).

3. Maintain an effective rapport with the project Team and seek developments in the development of the Supply Chain Solution.

4. Manage the implementation of activities and create 'Function Transparency' through support to visualisation, standardisation, KPI tracking utilising appropriate leadership behaviours and process governance that delivers business performance and continuous improvements

Experience and Qualifications.

You will ideally be MCIPS qualified or equivalent including APM or CILT
Experience of the defence market is desirable
Knowledge of dealing with obsolescence of equipment and spares.
