Our client provides specialised software and expert consulting services for the Wind Energy market. Due to their continued growth they are seeking an application developer who is looking for a new technical challenge.

Position: Application Engineer
Location: Nottingham, UK
Salary: 28- 30K p.a.

ROLE:
The Application Engineer will take a leading role in the development of the company’s in-house Computer-Aided-Engineering Software

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
a) Educated to degree level or better in a relevant subject (Engineering, Mathematics, Physics)
b) Knowledge and enthusiasm for technical software development
c) Experience of programming using Smalltalk or Object Oriented Language

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Evidence of your understanding of the fundamentals of any of the following: FE analysis, Vibration, Mechanical engineering component design and rating.
b) Please note we are looking for an understanding of the science behind such topics, not just experience of using software tools.
