Senior Electrical Engineer

Description : Senior Electrical Engineer Due to on-going demand and growth in business, we are looking to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience of Naval/Marine Electrical Power systems to join our Power Business Unit. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful applicants will perform a wide range of engineering work throughout the project life cycle. Key requirements will include: Delivering optimum Electrical engineering solutions from bid to delivery Taking responsibility for overall product design or for a sub-module in a larger project Planning and conducting own development and engineering tasks to meet agreed project objectives Working closely with other senior team-members, co-ordination of the overall mechanical design Candidate requirements: An honours degree in electrical engineering An enthusiastic and hands-on approach to design and development Must have experience of Naval/Marine Electrical Power systems. Working knowledge of safety and environmental legislation is essential
