Description : C++ FORTRAN SOFTWARE DEVELOPER – CFD / FEA Development A Software Engineer with experience of developing code for CFD / FEA Software is required by a Company that supplies leading specialist software products and services to engineers and scientists worldwide. The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of explicit dynamics FE technology and will be responsible for core physics related research and development projects, as well as contributing to maintenance of the software code. You must have a good honors degree in a related Engineer, Mathematics or Physics subject, PhD preferred You must have Several years industrial experience or post-graduate studies in numerical simulation development (FEA or CFD) You must show a keen interest and working knowledge of numerical methods and/or numerical simulation You must be experienced in software development (Fortran 90/95, C/C++ ) You must have a working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems You must have a good knowledge of explicit dynamics FEA/CFD software beneficial You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Preference will be given to candidates with a good working knowledge of impact dynamics/shock physics.
