Are you passionate about the environment? Can you develop the potential of their educational programme? Our client is looking to recruit a Head of Education to join their motivated team based in London.

Head of Education role:

As Head of Education your understanding of both the education sector and the sustainability agenda will enable you to take the lead in developing our client's education strategy and in project design.

You will have the vision and leadership skills to inspire a highly motivated staff team. As a strategic thinker and an exceptional communicator, you will also be able to develop diverse partnerships across the public, private and voluntary sectors. Your creative flair coupled with your practical approach will enable you to spot funding opportunities and successfully to turn ideas into reality.

Head of Education candidate key skills:

- Relevant qualifications at graduate level or above
- The vision and leadership skills to inspire a highly motivated team
- A proven track record of project management and of managing teams delivering diverse activities
- Confidence in public speaking, report writing and tender/bid development
- Strong diplomatic and political skills, the ability to develop good working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and partners at senior level, with local and central government, industry and NGOs
- Willingness to spend short blocks of time away from home as required for meetings with other staff
- Significant experience in the environmental and education sector and able to demonstrate a broad understanding of sustainability issues

Head of Education Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP39,000
