Mann and Overton are the retail division of LTI Vehicles, manufacturers of the black cab. With dealerships in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds, we are at the forefront of retailing the TX4 purpose built taxi to drivers and we operate throughout the UK.
We are now looking to expand our wholly owned operations into Scotland and wish to recruit a General Manager from the Glasgow / Edinburgh area.

General Manager - Motor Trade - Role

If you have a strong leadership style that enables you to drive a business to its full potential and you have a background in the Motor Trade, this could be the unique challenge you've been waiting for. You'll need to be successful and goal-focussed with drive and energy. It will be down to you to make an impact from day one, establishing your team from scratch.

With the support of the Mann and Overton team you will create the structure through which LTI will sell and maintain its vehicles for Scottish drivers in the future. Once you have established your team you will then run our Scottish operations.

General Manager - Motor Trade - Key responsibilities will include:

- Managing Dealership turnover and profitability
- Dealer performance against agreed set targets
- Customer satisfaction
- Business planning and performance development
- Above all it means inspiring leadership to the Sales and After Sales teams to actively maximize sales and profits
- The ability to take a strategic view while never losing focus of the day to day issues is important.

General Manager - Motor Trade - Candidate requirements:

- Proven experience of Managing a successful Sales Team (Preferably in the Motor Trade industry)
- Strong leadership skills
- Background in the Motor Trade
- Goal-focussed with drive and energy
- Previous experience of recruitment
