Purpose: Ensure the delivery of the maintenance plan on a daily basis and raise and despatch reactive work to appropriate MEandI technicians within a geographic area.

Accountabilities

Responsible for ensuring the daily delivery of planned maintenance work, ensuring that emergency defective maintenance work is incorporated successfully into the maintenance plan. Responding to changing resource levels due to stand down time and sickness and adjusting the plan to reflect the change.

Check for reactive P2 and P3 work at status wappr first thing then every hour for all areas

Raise emergency work orders phoned through to the Service Centre, using the Prioritisation Matrix with input from the initiator to determine the priority of the work order.

Ensure defect P2-3 work is scheduled and completed on a timely basis. In all instances where a P2 work order has been raised the dispatcher will call the individual to verify the individual can commit to completing the defect work.

Reassign work as necessary to accommodate any changes in resource level and also reactive work .

The role is a 3 month temporary contract.

o Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
o Good telephone skills
o Logical approach to problem solving
o Maintenance knowledge for MEandI
o Knowledge of appropriate IT systems / packages (Maximo/Excel)
