Candidate Requirements

A high-profile academy in Central London requires a suitably experienced Cover Supervisor for a full time role commencing ASAP.

The school's students come from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds and learning needs and the school itself presents an exciting, challenging and ultimately rewarding environment in which to work.

The position will involve a full timetable of supervising classes as they complete set coursework; covering in the place of teachers who are absent through illness, professional development or other commitments.

The Cover Supervisor ensures the appropriate behaviour of classes and follows up on behaviour or pastoral issues with students and their teachers as required. The successful applicant will require previous experience of working with secondary students in a school setting.

Applicants with past experience of working as a Cover Supervisor will be highly regarded; however, the role may also suit people with relevant experience working as a TA or LSA.

* To be successful you must hold a Teaching Qualification
* You must have a current police clearance.
* You should display a proven track record of pupil learning outcomes.
