| Product Specialist Herts Salary 60k We have Product Specialist vacancy within the Healthcare General Devices Team. The ideal candidate MUST have the experience in the following areas: ·Soft tissue surgical implants (other than orthopaedic, vascular or active implants) ·Long and short term surgical implants ·Implants that are made of plastics, metal, viscous gels, absorbable or non absorbable ·Neurological or central nervous system contact devices This experience should be gained in at least TWO of the following industry sectors: ·neurosurgery, ·reconstructive and general surgery, ·pulmonary/respiratory, ·trauma/emergency ·women's health/gynecology ·urology and renal KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES ·Concepts and intent of Product Certification and service orientation ·Working in closely related industries covering one or more of the following, design, development, manufacturing, testing, evaluation or clinical use of product ·Knowledge of business processes and the application of quality management standards ·Awareness of assessment methodology and product evaluation techniques ·Conceptual and analytical thinking, efficiency and results orientation ·A team player and entrepreneur good at relationship building internally and externally ·Broad technical understanding of client industry products ·A good depth and breadth of technical, commercial knowledge is essential in addition to the client-handling and organisational skills required EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS ·Generally a BSc or equivalent. However, where there is extensive industrial or medical device user experience . PURPOSE OF POSITION ·Control and manage a portfolio of Kitemark CE marking and Other Certification schemes ·To ensure the integrity of the schemes and service provided ·Responsible for independent judgement of certification recommendations ·Develop and work within targets and expectations ·Build strong relationship with clients and stakeholders to promote the company KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES ·To develop and plan technically complex product services to clients in a way that builds the reputation for service excellence. ·Manage the clients and their relationship with Product Services in order to maintain and develop the value chain within targets. ·Develop client liaison and discussion to ensure the service provided is of the highest value from application through to issue of licence or certificate and then continually if the client is subject to ongoing surveillance and/or testing, ensuring the relevant Conditions of Contract are followed. ·Understand the relevant directives, standards and specifications in support of the schemes and any compliance or regulatory issues that affect the administration of the schemes. ·Co-ordinate or undertake the evaluation of the client's system to meet the scheme requirements.
