OVERVIEW
The Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the companys enterprise-level systems strategy. Their primary role is to ensure that their assigned systems are operating efficiently, securely and effectively to support the manufactured housing, recreational vehicle, accounting/financial, and miscellaneous ancillary business objectives.
JOB DUTIES
-Develops and implements strategic system roadmap and initiatives to align with Suns goals and objectives
-Partners with business leaders across Sun to inform and gain buy-in on the system vision, strategy, features, budgets, and priorities
-Understand high-level of business processes performed at Sun across the various systems within the enterprise technology architecture
-Stays informed of and has an understanding of high-level business processes performed at Sun across the various systems within the enterprise technology architecture
-Oversees installations, configurations, and implementations on assigned systems
-Monitors and ensures assigned systems' availability, performance, and security, promptly resolving any issues or business disruptions that may arise
-Conducts regular system assessments and participate in security audits to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and areas for improvement and work to implement appropriate measures to mitigate them
-Develops and maintains system documentation, including operating and support procedures, configurations, and technical specifications
-Leads required upgrades and enhancements to the assigned system
-Collaborates with external vendor partners and cross-functional internal team members to gather requirements, analyze needs, design, and implement appropriate system solutions
-Oversees any acquisition, disposition, and conversion tasks related to assigned systems
-Manages relationships with external vendor partners and technology teams for assigned systems
-Maintains accurate system records, establishes contacts and effective support procedures, contract details, and manages key system dates
-Partner with leadership teams to assess, recommend, and implement technology solutions that align with organizational objectives and meet compliance standards
-Experience with ERP and sourcing platforms such as Netsuite, SAP, Coupa, or comparable systems
-Stays abreast of emerging tech trends and best practices, recommend system enhancements, and drive the adoption strategy
-Other tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor's Degree in information technology or related field (required)
-5 years experience in product ownership, system administration, or system support role
-3 years experience in enterprise systems management, including the design, implementation, and maintaining source to pay technology including platform such a Coupa, Ivalua, SAP Ariba, or similar systems (preferred)
-Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to think creatively to solve customer requests using configuration
-Strong negotiation, presentation, and reporting skills
-Highly organized with strong attention to detail
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Visio
-Demonstrated ability to take initiative and embrace change
-Knowledge of configuration and support best practices and methodologies
-Solid understanding of IT security principles and practices, including access controls, data protection, and compliance requirements
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
