Job Summary
The AGCO Global Demand and Planning team has an exciting opportunity for a high-impact Global Demand & Planning Analyst to join its team in delivering extraordinary results to our farmers.
This candidate will ultimately be responsible for organizing, analyzing, and making decisions in the inventory planning process for the global AGCO’s parts distribution network. Specifically, the Forecasting & Planning Specialist will work to deliver improved (parts service) fill rate levels across a portfolio of brands / products that AGCO dealers sell and promote. This role will require balancing targeted fill rates with inventory objectives and is designated for an individual who is analytically proficient and capable of making inferences from various sources of data.
Key Responsibilities
-Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Purchasing, Customer Care, Logistics to optimize operating costs, inventory value, and customer service levels.
-Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Production facilities, New Product Launch Specialist, Purchasing and Procurement to ensure new product availability in time to support launch dates.
-Identify and incorporate product knowledge, dealer profiles, seasonality and regional / local conditions to enhance inventory planning capabilities
-Steer continuous improvement in Forecast & Planning to improve parts availability and service.
-Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual results / accomplishments.
