Trainee Estimator
Location: Office based in Ongar, Essex, projects based in various areas of London, South East region & Essex.
Salary: To be negotiated
Vacancy Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-4pm
The company is a family run building company established in 2004.
The Role
They are currently looking to fulfil a new Trainee Estimator position for their expanding business. Their clients vary to include local authorities, housing associations and the private sector. They are looking for an individual looking to grow their career and fulfil their potential within the company, with plenty of opportunities to grow into management positions.
Key Responsibilities
* Working with their estimating team.
* Liaising with clients and other office staff.
* Organising and updating paperwork.
* Preparing invoice breakdowns.
Skills and Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills via the telephone and face to face.
* Excellent computer skills.
* A smart and professional appearance.
* Dedication to the company's high standard.
* Efficient timekeeping and organisational skills.
* Must have full UK driving license. (Vehicle provided for work purposes)
* General knowledge of all types of building work, refurbishment, and day to day maintenance would be helpful but not essential.
* Polite telephone manner.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Self-motivated and target driven.
* Willing to work in a team as well as an individual.
* Able to manage and complete all workloads to a satisfactory standard.
* Ambition to progress within the company.
