Job Summary
The Purchasing Assistant will assist various departments in placing purchase orders for needed supplies, verifying when received, and be primary contact with third party vendors.
Job Location
This role will work onsite at our San Antonio, TX manufacturing location.
Job Responsibilities
-Order supplies for individual departments and maintains purchase requirements
-Oversee Uniform Program
-Oversee all outside vendor services
-Researches and answer vendor tickets when purchase orders have discrepancies
-Produce and maintain various receiving reports and distributes as needed
-Assist with collection of production data
-Various administrative duties such as: filing, copying, etc.
-May backup other departments and locations as needed
Job Requirements
-High school diploma / equivalent required
-Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
-Good written and verbal skills
-Good organizational skills
-Ability to communicate well with coworkers and customers
