Role- Service Engineer
Salary- £38,000- £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)
Type- Permanent
Location- Essex
My client design, manufacture and service a range of electro-mechanical products and they are looking to take on a Service Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Essex area.
The Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Previous experience of working in a similar hands on Service Engineer role – confident fault finding and carrying out repairs
- Electro-mechanical and hydraulic experience is needed
- A qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- Have a Full Driving Licence and a CSCS card
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Be very well organised and have the ability to prioritise tasks
- Have excellent communications skills to work with customers
- Good proficiency with using Microsoft Office and be PC literate
The Service Engineer role will involve:
- Reporting to the Service Manager
- Maintaining and repairing electro-mechanical products
- Also installing new products when needed
- Ensuring you comply to company procedures – Quality and Health & Safety
- Completing site reports when required for repairs and maintenance
- Testing systems to ensure they work as they should
- Carrying out fault diagnosis
- Overtime is paid door to door
