We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer with expertise and passion in Embodied AI. You will lead the development of intelligent robotic systems for various industrial and public safety applications. You will be at the core of shaping how AI manifests in the physical world—detecting security lapses, identifying fire safety violations, and orchestrating fleets of robots that interact intelligently with dynamic environments and people.
This is a unique opportunity to push the boundaries of AI-enabled physical autonomy and contribute directly to real-world robotic deployments.
Responsibilities:
Technology Exploration & Prototyping
-Scout, assess, and prototype cutting-edge AI technologies applicable to physical robotic platforms.
-Demonstrate solutions that meet operational use cases such as anomaly detection, security breach identification, and fire hazard recognition.
Autonomous Fleet Orchestration
-Research and implement AI solutions for autonomous behavior coordination across multi-robot fleets.
-Evaluate and optimize integration into centralized fleet management systems.
Vendor Engagement & Technical Assessment
-Identify and liaise with technology vendors offering AI-enabled robotic capabilities.
-Assess vendor products and technical specifications for compatibility and performance.
-Translate high-level use case needs into actionable technical requirements for vendors.
Solution Architecture & Development
-Lead the technical design and development of AI-based robotic features and systems.
-Deliver robust, scalable, and production-ready software integrated with hardware platforms.
Cross-functional Collaboration
-Work closely with robotics engineers, system integrators, and project managers to ensure seamless rollout and field performance of the solution.
-Act as the AI technical lead for internal and external stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
The ideal profile should have:
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, AI, or related field.
-5+ years of experience in AI development, with at least 2 years in robotics or edge AI applications.
-Proven experience in computer vision, machine learning, and sensor fusion.
-Hands-on experience with technologies such as YOLO, OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, ROS (Robot Operating System), and NVIDIA Jetson platforms.
-Strong understanding of robot navigation algorithms
-Strong understanding of multi-agent systems or autonomous behavior algorithms.
-Demonstrated ability to evaluate and integrate third-party AI or robotics SDKs/APIs.
-Excellent communication and documentation skills to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Good To have
-Experience with inspection or concierge robots in real-world deployments.
-Prior experience with VLM-based technologies
-Prior experience working with robotic fleet management platforms or robotics middleware framework
-Familiarity with safety and compliance use cases in security and facilities management domains.
