Job Summary
Housekeepers are responsible for regularly cleaning community facilities and buildings to ensure the community remains presentable and sanitary at all times.
Job Duties
-Cleans, sanitizes and stocks kitchen areas with paper products (Essential)
-Cleans and sanitizes appliances to ensure they are free of food particles, mold, and mildew. Defrosts freezer as needed (Essential)
-Cleans, sanitizes and stocks bathrooms, including ensuring they are well lit and rubber mats are in place to ensure safety (Essential)
-Follows all established safety procedures and precautions. Immediately reports any unsafe/hazardous conditions, incidents/accidents, and/or defective equipment to Community Manager or immediate supervisor (Essential)
-Ensures the general property appearance is well maintained and orderly
-Sweeps, mops, waxes, and buffs floors as needed
-Cleans windows and screens, ensuring they are in functioning order
-Maintains washers and dryers by wiping surfaces, removing lint, and handling routine maintenance
-Ensures all offices are clean and neat. Empties trash containers as needed
-Ensures that all vents and filters are cleaned and changed as needed
-Other duties as assigned
Requirements
-High School Diploma or GED (Required)
-6 months in previous experience cleaning homes, apartments, or other large facilities (Preferred)
-Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
-Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
-Knowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals
-Demonstrated knowledge of janitorial work
-Must have a valid driver's license
