Job Summary:
The Base Area Janitor team performs critical operations in the base area to deliver an incredible arrival experience. This entry-level position is a great opportunity to learn new skills and gain knowledge in many aspects of resort operations.

Job Responsibilities:

-Perform, document and help to ensure compliance with daily and periodic inspections to meet all applicable regulations
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Assist in janitorial duties of all base area facilities to include cleaning of all restroom areas: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Daily re-stocking of supplies where needed
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Daily upkeep of associated facilities and equipment to include: maintenance of vacuums, able to work outside, retrieving trash & recycle from our various receptacles
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Daily inspections of closets and cleaning apparatus
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Proactively communicate maintenance needs to ensure timely reporting of issues that need to be addressed promptly
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Engage with guests and staff while exhibiting Vail Resorts Core Values

-Assist with operation of activities as needed
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Other duties to include maintaining our recycle pick up points and getting recycle to designated areas
Job Qualifications:

-Comfortable working both inside and outside in seasonal environments

-Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

-Must be able to work as a team member and able to work individually as well, responsibly, and able to report to the supervisor as soon as each task is completed

-Must be able to follow directions and complete assigned tasks

-Must be able to work weekends and holidays
-Able to work late afternoons, early evening shifts - preferred

The expected pay range is $20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
