Position Description
Lindsay Corporation is hiring a Sr. IoT Engineer within its
Technology and Innovation
organization, reporting to the
Senior
Manager, IoT
Engineering.
This critical role will
b
e responsible for
designing
, developing, and deploying IoT solutions across Lindsay’s product lines, including new connected devices and features.
A
dditionally, this role will also be responsible for performing test driven development with regards to testing devices as well as simulating devices.
Position Details
This is a full-time, salaried position that can be based in either our Omaha, NE or Olathe, KS offices and includes a highly competitive salary/benefits package based on the location of the position. Travel requirements will be minimal (-15%), but there may be some travel to various office locations and industry conferences.
Duties & Responsibilities

-Assists
in designing, developing, testing, and delivering high quality web and mobile app solutions, including new products and features

-Acts as a subject matter expert in IoT technologies, mentoring and guiding other engineers through deep knowledge of protocols, platforms, and tools

-Assists
in
new IoT product development efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and within scope

-Maintains and enhances existing IoT systems and device firmware as assigned
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Develops and configures device communication protocols and cloud integration according to business requirements

-Participates in design reviews, code reviews, and other quality assurance processes

-Conducts thorough testing and debugging of IoT systems prior to deployment

-Troubleshoots and resolves reported IoT issues efficiently and accurately

-Bachelor's degree in computer engineering,

ngineering, or equivalent technical education or experience

+ years of
relevant
professional engineering experience
