Management Accountant
Location: Lincoln
Salary: circa A£45,000
Benjamin Edwards is recruiting for a Management Accountant for a high growth and successful business who strives to be industry leaders. As Management Accountant, you will work closely with the finance leadership team.
The role of the Management Accountant
* Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete
* Manage general ledger and deliver accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
* Own and manage the statutory accounts process
* Responsible for performing balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax filings and audits
* Responsible for cash reconciliations, cashflow, interest payments
* Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process
* Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
* Deputise for the Financial Controller, as required
The ideal candidate for the role of Management Accountant
* ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified (part qualified will also be considered)
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
* Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting software
* Experience in statutory accounts processes and execution
