JOB TITLE: Warper Creeler
REPORTS TO: Warping Production Manager
PURPOSE:
To safely and efficiently creel a warper marching and create first quality warping beams through following set specification
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Creel and Tie-In yarn packs within production standards
-Inspect yarn packs and creels, meeting set specification requirements.
-Observe and handle off quality yarn packs
-Keep creels clean
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
-Ability to work safely
-Ability to read and write and follow directions
-Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
-Ability to understand and follow warper creeler standard work procedures
-Ability to identify and classify defects by combination of visually inspecting and touching yarn.
-Ability to pass warper creeler tests and become certified by consistently performing standard work as required.
-Ability to use scissors
-Ability to tie 3 specific knots
-Ability to gauge a creel and know when more yarn is needed
-Ability to work as a team.
-Good communication skills

Creel, Flashlight, Apron, Scissors, Retractable Pen Knife, Pen, Ladder, Yarn, Push Trucks

Ability to stand loading creels, tie-in yarn parks

Ability to see tiny defects in yarn. Perform thorough visual inspection of yarn and yarn shed. Identify large and small defects and correct or document.
