Job Title: Director of Nursing – ALF
Ministry: Cardinal Ritter Senior Services
Reports To: Mother of Perpetual Help Administrator
Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000/year

Position Summary:
The Director of Nursing oversees all nursing operations in accordance with state guidelines and ensures delivery of high-quality care in our Assisted Living Facility.
Key Responsibilities:
-Direct and evaluate daily nursing operations for a 24-hour facility.
-Ensure compliance with state regulations and CRSS policies.
-Supervise RCCs, Charge Nurses, L1MAs, and CMTs.
-Monitor and adjust staffing to align with census and acuity.
-Mentor staff and lead performance evaluations.
-Oversee care plans (ISP/IEP) and physician orders.
-Conduct rounds and chart audits for quality assurance.
-Use MatrixCare to track compliance and incidents.
-Respond to resident/family concerns professionally.
-Support Administrator with incident investigations and survey prep.
-Participate in admissions, care planning, and interdisciplinary meetings.
-Collaborate with HR on hiring, training, and disciplinary actions.
-Assist in setting departmental goals and budgets.
Required Qualifications:
-Current Missouri RN license and graduate of accredited RN program.
-At least 5 years’ experience in assisted living nursing, with supervisory background.
-Solid knowledge of Assisted Living, DMH, and Joint Commission guidelines.
-Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
-Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling and participate in on-call rotation.
-Familiarity with MatrixCare or similar clinical systems preferred.
-Physical and emotional ability to meet job demands.
Accountabilities:
-Oversight of all nursing staff at MOPH and STE campuses.
-Quality and safety of care for up to 170 residents.
-Appropriate use of resources and supplies.
