Job Summary
Seton Regional Catholic School is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the school’s facilities and grounds are safe, clean, and well-maintained. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine repairs, upkeep, and custodial tasks while supporting the school’s mission to provide a welcoming, faith-centered environment.
Job Responsibilities
-Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
-Conduct regular inspections of the school’s physical plant and grounds to identify safety hazards or repair needs.
-Maintain clean and orderly classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas as needed.
-Manage snow removal, landscaping, and grounds upkeep to ensure safe access.
-Set up and break down furniture and equipment for school events and activities.
-Monitor and maintain inventories of maintenance supplies and equipment.
-Coordinate and oversee outside contractors and service providers as directed.
-Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
-Ensure compliance with diocesan safety regulations and school policies.
-Support the school community by maintaining a respectful and professional demeanor in keeping with Catholic values.
Job Requirements
-High school diploma or equivalent required.
-Experience in general maintenance, custodial work, or related field preferred.
-Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
-Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
-Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
-Valid driver’s license.
-Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional evenings or weekends.
