Job Summary
Seton Regional is seeking a Resource Teacher for the school year.
Job Responsibilities
-Assess student learning needs and provide targeted academic interventions in reading, math, and/or writing.
-Collaborate with classroom teachers to differentiate instruction and support inclusive learning environments.
-Create and implement individualized learning plans (ILPs) or accommodation plans as needed.
-Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of interventions and outcomes.
-Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student growth and goals.
-Provide push-in and pull-out support depending on student needs.
-Assist with testing accommodations and standardized assessments as applicable.
-Participate in student support team (SST) or response to intervention (RTI) processes.
-Model and integrate Catholic values into all aspects of instruction and student interaction.
-Maintain confidentiality and comply with school and diocesan policies, including Safe Environment requirements.
Job Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field required; master’s degree preferred.
-Valid teaching credential preferred; endorsement in special education or learning support is a plus.
-Experience working with students with learning differences in a school setting.
-Practicing Catholic preferred; must support the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church.
-Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
-Familiarity with intervention strategies, learning assessments, and progress monitoring tools.
-Completion of diocesan Safe Environment training and background check required.
