Reporting to: Manager, Merchandise Planning
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the analytical engine behind our merchandise strategy, translating performance into actionable plans and future growth.
Strategic Planning & Forecasting

-Partner with cross-functional teams to build pre-season financial strategies and assortment architecture that align with merchant vision and financial goals.
-Use historical data and current trends to shape future assortment decisions.In-Season Business Management

-Develop and manage weekly sales, markdown, and receipt plans through Open-to-Buy (OTB) across department, class, subclass, and key item levels.
-Monitor in-season performance and recommend adjustments to optimize results.Data Analysis & Insights

-Deliver bottoms-up reporting and ad-hoc analyses to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
-Provide solution-oriented recommendations based on category performance and trend analysis.Collaboration & Communication

-Work closely with Store Planning and Allocation to ensure inventory plans align with store needs.
-Communicate insights and strategies clearly across teams to drive alignment and action.Team Engagement & Development

Skills & Knowledge

-Strong financial acumen with advanced analytical skills in data retrieval, organization, and presentation.
-Effective time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
-Clear and confident communicator, especially when translating financial concepts.
-Proactive in identifying efficiencies and sharing best practices across the planning team.
-Proficiency in Excel, MicroStrategy, and Enterprise Planning tools.
-Ability to influence decisions through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.Experience

-Minimum of 3 years in Planning, Allocation, Buying, or financial analysis—or a combination of these areas.Education

-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
