The Commercial Analytics Team is directly embedded in Vista’s Regional organization to drive strategic opportunities forward and optimize the customer experience. As an analyst, you will partner with teams of product, merchandising, pricing, and marketing experts to bring forward ideas and help uncover insights.
We are looking for a driven Senior Analyst with a consulting attitude to drive important analyses that expose potential optimizations for the customer journey. You are a big-picture problem solver who understands complex data sets, conveys what they mean to the business, and drives actionable recommendations.
What You Will Do

-Be immersed in diverse teams
where you will collaborate on analyses and continually bring forward ideas and insights to drive value for our customers;
-Be a great teammate
who can coordinate across domains and time zones to see a project through, from ideation and analysis to documentation and presentation;
-Be an internal consultant
, sharing concrete insights to help your business partners make better decisions on the full spectrum of the customer journey (e.g., Marketing recommendations to drive customer acquisition, site analysis to improve the UX, operations to improve the “On-Time-Delivery,” etc.)l;
-Tell data stories
and communicate effectively with all audiences: you will communicate risks and dependencies to help prioritize and communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical collaborators to drive data-driven decisions. You will use visualization or crisp narratives to deliver your message tailored to your audience;
-Design and execute a/b/n tests
to optimize the customer experience and analyze results to provide insightful recommendations to the business. Experience with Statsig is a plus;
-Be a student,
learning new techniques when required: you learn new skills to get to the best possible recommendations when required. We’ve got you covered with in-house experts and training;
-Be an owner
, solving problems that might appear “out of scope”: you must raise your voice if something seems broken and proactively offer solutions.

-Experience in eCommerce, particularly with cross-functional Marketing teams;
-Compelling communication and outstanding stakeholder management skills, able to articulate points clearly based on the audience and maintain relationships with key business partners effectively, ensuring alignment and support for strategic initiatives;
-Strong problem-solving skills (ability to translate a business ask into a very concrete question and then break it down into important analysis);
-Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake), web-analytics tools (Google Analytics 360 + Data Studio, Adobe Analytics), and visualization tools (Domo, Looker, Power BI, Tableau);
-Good understanding of exploratory analysis and statistical techniques and skilled in finding crucial patterns and trends in the data;
-Excellent organizational skills, good attention to detail, and consistent record of effectively delivering on projects;
-3+ years in an analytics environment and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
Nice to Have

-Familiar with programming languages (e.g., Python, R);
-Experience with Optimizely, Statsig, or similar experimentation tools;
-Experience deriving insights and recommendations from marketing data where controlled experimentation is impossible.
