This position is responsible for the precision machining of tooling and components that support production, ensuring tight tolerances and high-quality standards in a fast-paced toolmaker environment at our Nogales, AZ, manufacturing plant.

The Build (Responsibilities)
-Mechanical knowledge
-Be able to machine parts from prints
-Be able to machine parts from samples
-Be able to machine parts to a tolerance of +/-0.005
-Work accurately in a timely manner
-Keep a well-organized and neat workplace
-Knowledgeable in surface grinder operation
-Proficient at milling machines with digital read out
-Proficient at lathe operations
-Able to read all machinist-measuring tools
-Proficient “CNC” milling machining operations
-Able to write / read “CNC conversational” machine code
-Ability to perform all duties un-supervised in a professional, timely manner
-Able to speak and understand English
The Toolbox (Qualifications)
-High school diploma or GED required.
-2 year as a Machinist, or completion of a machine shop trade school
-Knowledge of basic hydraulics and pneumatics.
-Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
-Capable of working to extremely close tolerances.
-Able to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) including Saturdays as required.
-Stand and walk continuously for 8 hours, if necessary.
-Climb stairs and ladders.
-Lift and carry 50 pounds.
-Able to operate forklifts and aerial lift equipment.
