Role description:
The Mold Maker Journeyman repairs Mold equipment using a variety of tools. This role welds, files, grinds, vents, and polishes the Molds. This role involved letter cutting, lathe work, and millwork.

$40.74 Hourly Rate

Responsibilities:

-Weld, grind, file, and polish mold equipment
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"-
-Grind lathe tools and do lathe work as required
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"-
-Run surface grinder when reducing mold equipment
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"-
-Use welding torches and gauges
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"-
-Repair mold equipment using milling machines
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"-
-Inspect mold equipment
Minimum skills / qualifications:
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"-
-High school diploma or equivalent
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"-
-Minimum 5 years of experience in a production manufacturing environment
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"-
-Tool and Die experience

-Must be able to stand for 8 hours

-Must be able to lift twenty (20) pounds
Preferred skills / qualifications:

-Technical school degree or equivalent

-Journeyman Card or equivalent experience
