Summary
The Research Associate - Abdominal Transplant will play a critical role in advancing the Transplant Institute’s mission to advance groundbreaking research, enhance patient care, and education. Ideal candidate will be self-directed, organized and strong with developing manuscripts and grant applications.
Job Duties
-Assists the PIs to develop, edit, and review grant proposal narratives, applications, and supporting documents.
-Plans, directs and conducts research experiments.
-Evaluates and analyzes patient related research data.
-Develops research techniques and performs applications required for specific research projects.
-May conduct literature searches and summarize information in an appropriate format for a particular study.
-Develops and published manuscripts.
-Documents results of experiments and reports to principal investigators.
-Writes reports for government, foundations and/or other sponsors.
-May supervise, schedule and coordinate the activities of less experienced research staff.
-Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
-Master's degree in Basic Science or a related field. Experience in lieu of degree will not be accepted.
-Three years of relevant experience typically as a Research Assistant, Research Technician or Postdoctoral Fellow/Associate.

-Doctoral degree
