About the Role
A leading UK brand in high-end interior finishes is seeking a confident, customer-focused Sales Consultant to join their established Cambridge showroom. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected company with a strong reputation in the design and interiors sector.
This role is all about building strong client relationships, offering tailored product advice, and guiding customers through the full buying journey-from first showroom visit to product aftercare. If you're personable, professional, and love interiors, this role could be the perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver expert product advice and design inspiration tailored to customer needs.
* Manage the sales process from initial enquiry to post-sale support.
* Build long-lasting client relationships by offering an honest, consultative approach.
* Handle showroom enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
* Arrange product samples, process orders and payments, and coordinate deliveries.
* Collaborate with a close-knit team to maintain high showroom standards and ensure smooth customer experiences.
What We're Looking For
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
* A proactive, customer-first mindset with strong attention to detail.
* Experience in a retail, interiors, or client-facing role.
* Strong communication skills-both written and verbal.
* Excellent organisation and time management.
* Good numeracy and confidence using IT systems.
