Position Description
Performs engineering work in a variety of settings. Originates complex ideas or projects and contributes to existing projects. Plans, conducts and directs research and/or development work with broad latitude on complex projects. Provides technical inspiration, leadership, and consultation to internal and external customers.

-Develops and applies engineering standards and procedures and provides advice on issues within the engineering field
-Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business
-Performs other duties as assigned

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related field
Experience Requirements
-Ten years of experience in an engineering role
-Recognized as an expert in a particular field of specialization, or have extensive knowledge of all design and development aspects for a particular Briggs & Stratton product or manufacturing process such as internal combustion engines
