We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our KS2 team in a welcoming Bury primary school. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with class teachers as a Teaching Assistant to support lessons and learning activities

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils as a Teaching Assistant
*
Assist with classroom organisation, resources, and behaviour management as a Teaching Assistant
*
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive attitudes to learning as a Teaching Assistant
*
Act as a reliable and approachable Teaching Assistant for pupils and staff
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in KS2 or primary settings
*
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach suitable for a Teaching Assistant role
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
*
Knowledge of safeguarding and child welfare practices
*
Relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant - desirable but not essential
